THS are expanding and recruiting for additional staff at its Head Office at Dissington Hall, nr Ponteland in Northumberland.

This week we successfully launched a new service called ‘CAV Check’. The latest mandatory requirements stipulate that all retrofit cavity wall insulation measures must be accompanied by evidence that the findings of a pre-installation building inspection have been independently checked.

The CAV Check Scheme provides this service to cavity wall installers.

As part of this expansion, THS require office based staff to join a newly formed team to undertake desktop audits of cavity wall surveys.

What are we looking for?

• Individuals who have experience and knowledge of Cavity Wall Insulation, preferably from installing, inspecting or surveying for the measure.

• Basic Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).

• Behaviour and attitude that aligns with THS values of Trust, Honesty and Security

Desirable (Training can be given)

• NVQ or equivalent training in CWI

• Experience of using web-based IT Platforms

• ACOPs Gas Safety Awareness

• Asbestos Awareness

• Familiarity with various CWI systems (fibre, bead, foam)
